licu, a romanian story

1 dec 15:30 - 17:00

Licu, a Romanian Story is the life of a man. A 92-year-old man having outlived major historical events such as war, peace, communism, the revolution and post-revolution. He has suffered, loved, laughed and cried. It is a movie about the passing of time and old age. A reflection on our own condition and ephemerality.

The director, Ana Dumitrescu, is an ex-photojournalist with experience working for media groups such as National Geographic or Mediafax. Her work deals with societal topics such as workers, exclusion or discrimination. As an artist photographer, she has had multiple exhibitions around the world narrating the life-story of others through photos.
